They say that dog is man’s best friend, and what kind of friend would a dog be if it didn’t help you find a wife?

Jenny and Nathan met through Match.com and it was the dog in Nathan’s picture that first caught Jenny’s eye – but the dog was not the only one who caught Jenny’s eye – she also thought that Nathan was cute and asked him out for coffee. The two met at Cafe Vino in Fort Collins, Colorado and had coffee. The conversation came easily and they talked for a long time. Jenny wanted the conversation to keep going but thought that Nathan was not as interested as he repeatedly checked his watch throughout their time together. At the end of the date Nathan asked for Jenny’s number and the rest became history.

Exactly one year later a proposal came…Jenny and Nathan spent the day at a festival in Loveland and returned to Cafe Vino for drinks. Jenny kept waiting and waiting for a proposal since they had talked about getting engaged around their one year anniversary of dating but a proposal never came. On the way home Nathan confessed that he was going to propose but that he had gotten the impression that Jenny wasn’t ready. Jenny quickly cleared that up by saying that she wanted to be engaged with a longer engagement time. Nathan got the message loud and clear and when they got home he ran around to her side of the car, opened the door, knelt down on the sidewalk and asked Jenny to marry him. She cried and said yes!

A little afternoon rain was no match for Jenny and Nathan’s sunset wedding. The ceremony was very personal as Jenny and Nathan wrote their own vows to one another. The Colorado sunset and night sky provided a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and reception. The speeches from their bridal party and the sparklers were standout moments from the day of celebration.

For their honeymoon, Jenny and Nathan went across the globe to Asia and spent some time in China and Japan. They were able to see the bomb museum at Nagasaki, eat a scorpion and sea horse, and learn some Chinese. An unexpected delay in Shanghai had Jenny and Nathan a little upset but it led to a fun day filled with exploration around the city.

Jenny and Nathan are excited to enjoy the day-to-day activities of life as they start this incredible new journey together. They cannot wait to fill their new house with kids but are most excited to do life with their number one buddy (words from Jenny’s grandpa).

Shannyn: How was working with Adam?

Jenny: My husband found him and he was awesome!!!!!!!!  I loved his energy from the moment I met him. I loved how comfortable he made me feel.  He has the warmest smile that makes me feel at home!  OF COURSE I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM!!!
