A girls night out on Halloween in 2011 was interrupted by some welcomed guests at the Rio in Boulder, Colorado. Jordan and her friends were going out for chips and salsa and ONE drink since work followed the next day. Kyle and his friend gladly interrupted the girls’ night and before you know it the group ditched the Rio and were out dancing.

Jordan was shy and awkward at first but the dancing loosened her up and at the end of the night she was giving her number to Kyle. The next weekend Kyle and Jordan were out on their first date and with each moment that they spent together, Jordan knew that she needed to spend the rest of her life with Kyle.

After a year and half of dating, Kyle and Jordan were headed to Glenwood Springs for Kyle’s company party. Jordan had a feeling that a proposal might be coming in the near future but didn’t think that it would be that weekend and the weekend before her birthday and Valentine’s Day.

On the way to Glenwood Springs, Kyle and Jordan stopped in Breckenridge and spent the afternoon eating, shopping, and toddling around. The next stop was Vail for a fondue dinner and then ice-skating at a beautiful outdoor rink complete with a fireplace and market lights. Before Jordan realized it, they were the only ones on the ice and their song was playing. Kyle told Jordan how much he loved her and how he wants to spend the rest of his life with her – she ignorantly but with great patience replied, “I know baby, I want to spend the rest of my life with you too.”  Then Kyle was on one knee and the world started spinning.  All Jordan could say was, “Are you serious?”, “Are you serious?!” over and over.  The magical moment left Jordan a little confused but then IT clicked and she said, “Yes!”

Jordan and Kyle shared with their wedding guests the scenery that they love and are surrounded by daily – the mountains. Spruce Mountain Ranch had the natural beauty of flowers, gorgeous views, and a rustic, breathtaking lodge that they knew would be the perfect place to say their “I do’s.” The wedding day had little touches of Jordan’s German heritage, like the ring bearer’s pillow, and Kyle’s Italian heritage, with an Italian love song. The centerpieces at the reception were comprised of antique pieces from both sides of their families and their dessert bar was full of delicious treats from Jordan and Kyle’s childhoods.

Jordan and Kyle will always remember their first look because it gave them a quiet moment together to realize what their day was all about. Exchanging their vows was another favorite moment, followed by their absolutely amazing unplanned send-off. Their DJ had all of their friends and family surround them and tell them as a group how much they love them and to wish them well and that led to the group taking a giant selfie together.

Jordan and Kyle went to Playa Mujeres, Mexico for their honeymoon where they alternated day of exploring and having fun and then having relaxing beach days.

Shannyn: How was working with Adam?

Jordan and Kyle: Adam was absolutely wonderful to work with. We were lucky enough to start building a relationship with him through our engagement video and he made sure that we both felt comfortable and that carried through to our wedding day. On our day, Adam provided guidance and structure when needed, but overall was incredibly unobtrusive, capturing our day without interfering in any way.  We cannot wait to see the memories he captured on our day!
