What happened in Vegas didn’t stay in Vegas for Melissa and Chris, who met in Vegas to celebrate a mutual friend’s birthday. During the celebration, Melissa and Chris spent a lot of time together and hit it off. When the larger group split off, Melissa and Chris found themselves at a dueling piano bar and they still go there whenever they are in Vegas.

Melissa and Chris were having a weekend getaway to New York City when Chris decided to pop the question. After a beautiful lunch at the Boat House in Central Park, Chris proposed to Melissa near the water and she of course said yes!

Growing up in Colorado, Melissa knew that she wanted an outdoor wedding with the Colorado mountains as her backdrop. Crooked Willow Farms was the second place that they looked at and it was instant love. The layout, rustic beauty and feel of the place was exactly what Melissa and Chris were looking for to celebrate their big day. Colorado also provided the perfect middle ground for guests who were coming both coasts. The big day consisted of skeeball and corn hole for the guests to enjoy during the cocktail hour, since Melissa and Chris love games. There was a photo booth and game room for kids to enjoy. The day was also marked by sweet love letters the bride and groom exchanged while they were getting ready, the first look as Melissa walked down the aisle, and the memorable speeches by the best man and maid of honor. The party continued with “Let It Go”from Frozen with each guest singing along and an after party at The Inverness that included shuffleboard and foosball.

Melissa and Chris jetted off to Europe where planes, trains and automobiles took them to Ireland, Amsterdam, Paris, London and the Scottish highlands.

In the next five years, Melissa and Chris see themselves possibly with children and definitely a dog.

Shannyn: How did you hear about Adam?

Melissa: I found Adam online and he was great! He was very professional and super nice!
