Stephanie + Samuel

Oh, the joys of Facebook! It has a way of bringing people together like nothing else; it lets you relive memories and introduce you to new people through mutual friends. Samuel was scrolling through his news feed on Facebook when he came across a picture of friends and Stephanie happened to be in the picture. He reached out to a mutual friend of their’s and asked for Stephanie’s number. Like a good friend, they told Stephanie that Samuel had asked for her number so her interest was peaked. Stephanie was starting to grow impatient when Samuel still hadn’t called… after six months, Samuel finally gave Stephanie a call. Their first date was scheduled and after they sang Diamond Rio’s “Meet In the Middle” word for word together, the rest became history.

Samuel is one for surprises, so when it came to planning the biggest question of his life he was not skipping on the surprise element. It was Thanksgiving 2015 and all of Stephanie’s family was coming to their house in Atlanta for the holiday. In the madness of prepping for the family feast no one noticed to the conversation taking place outside between Samuel and Stephanie’s dad. In true surprise fashion, Samuel asked Stephanie’s dad for his blessing moments before the proposal. In-between the tears from Samuel, Stephanie’s dad threw him a bone and asked, “do you love her?” With her dad’s blessing they headed into dinner. After dinner, Samuel took Stephanie out to the koi pond and shared sweet words with her and then the surprise came when he asked her to marry him…she of course said yes and was completely surprised!

Stephanie described the wedding was as “pure bliss.” They were sounded by their family and friends are on their biggest day. To keep the element of surprise, Stephanie and Samuel shared their first look as she walked down the aisle to him. One of the highlights for them was cutting the cake where a room full of people felt like they were the only two there. They also loved walking to each table to greet the ones who were helping them celebrate the best day of their lives. Stephanie and Samuel danced the night away with their guests and were sent off with sparklers into the night.

After the excitement of the wedding, the new Mr. and Mrs. jetted off for the Ritz Carlton in Grand Cayman. They loved the relaxation and the VIP service that was at their fingertips. When they weren’t enjoying the delicious food and drinks, they were out scuba diving, snorkeling, and swimming with stingrays. Perhaps the biggest surprise of their honeymoon trip was an email from their wedding photographer with all of their wedding pictures.

Shannyn: How was working with Adam?

Stephanie: Our photographer, Jared Wilson, first referred us to Adam. We looked at the website and watched a handful of his videos & knew immediately we wanted him to film our wedding! Thankfully, the date worked out & we got to have him! Adam’s style & talents are out of this world!!! He was amazing to work with & we’ve been anxiously awaiting the finished product! We’re so grateful to have videos of our wedding and rehearsal dinner – it’s like we get to relive it over and over again each time we watch! Our friends & family who weren’t able to make the trip to celebrate with us are SO thrilled about Adam’s videos we’ve shared with them! I would recommend Adam to ANY and EVERY one planning a wedding – talent like his is hard to come by & he couldn’t have made the process any easier for us. We love all of the footage, but we’re so impressed by his production in the final video; how he was able to capture our vision and the overall feel of our entire wedding in a 6.5 minute clip – it’s magical! We are so thrilled we get to enjoy these videos (like a 3-D memory bank) of our wedding forever & ever & ever!!!!!
